It’s hard to believe that just a year ago there were still more than 1,000 colleges and universities in America that were mandating the COVID mRNA shots. You remember those, right? Those were the shots that don’t prevent you from catching COVID, don’t prevent you from spreading it, and might kill you. While most colleges have quietly let their jab mandates expire in shame, there are still 20 holdouts where administrators are refusing to “follow the science.”
Nearly 7,000 doctors, medical professionals, scientists, and academics have now signed the Hope Accord. This is a document calling for a global ban on mRNA jabs because they are too dangerous. It also calls for a restoration of medical ethics, which were thrown out the window completely during the pandemic.
The science has repeatedly shown that mRNA shots are dangerous to young people, particularly college-aged ones. Yet 20 colleges in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, and Pennsylvania are still making the jabs mandatory for students to attend in-person classes on campus.
If students still refuse the jabs after all this time (good for them if they do), they must submit to monthly COVID testing and pay for it out of their own pockets. It’s obnoxious and authoritarian coercion of the worst kind.
It seems like most Americans have forgotten about COVID by now after it turned out to be such a nothing-burger of a virus. It’s hard to imagine that universities are still trying to force the jabs into their students. If you have students who are approaching college age, you should strongly consider not sending them to the institutions listed here:
Both @waynestate and @SDSU finally dropped their ridiculous residential student C19 vaccine requirements and then there were 20. https://t.co/FXyuWjLfJI
