Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign is off to an even rockier start than the invisible basement campaign that he ran in 2020. His handlers juiced him up with drugs this week so he could be lucid long enough to deliver a speech in northern Virginia on Tuesday. It didn’t go as planned because a large number of Democrats had shown up to the event just to heckle “Genocide Joe.”
It’s going to be a very long year for Joe Biden as they try to drag him through another presidential campaign. First, look at the incredibly short distance that he was able to travel for this first “campaign event” of the year. He basically made it across the Potomac River from DC. If he’s too frail and elderly to make it any farther than that, what’s it going to look like in July or August when he should be campaigning in the Midwest?
Second, a sizeable coalition of the Democrats’ base now hates Joe Biden with the hot, hot hatred of 10,000 burning suns. Some hate him because of the rampant inflation that has destroyed their household budgets. Some hate him for starting the war in Ukraine and realize that never would have happened if Donald Trump were still in office.
A really large cohort of Democrat voters now hates Joe Biden because he has done nothing to try to resolve the situation between Israel and Hamas. Israel has now killed an estimated 20,000 children in its unrestricted bombing campaigns on civilian areas. Everywhere that Joe Biden goes these days, he’s going to be greeted by protesters from his own party who want him to drop out of the race.
During his Virginia speech on Tuesday, Biden was interrupted at least 14 times by hecklers. Here’s one example:
