Trump Demands Republicans “End It Now” In Fiery Message

President Donald Trump is calling on Republicans to take the most drastic step possible in Congress — to permanently end the Senate filibuster. The move, he argues, is the only way to stop Democrats from blocking every piece of conservative legislation in the years ahead.

In a message shared with supporters, Trump warned that keeping the filibuster in place could destroy the Republican agenda and give Democrats a chance to dominate future elections.

“The Democrats are far more likely to win the Midterms, and the next Presidential Election, if we don’t do the Termination of the Filibuster (The Nuclear Option!), because it will be impossible for Republicans to get Common Sense Policies done with these Crazed Democrat Lunatics being able to block everything by withholding their votes,” Trump said. “FOR THREE YEARS, NOTHING WILL BE PASSED, AND REPUBLICANS WILL BE BLAMED. Elections, including the Midterms, will be rightfully brutal.”

Trump’s argument is clear — the GOP can’t govern if the opposition can shut down every bill before it even reaches the floor. He said the time for hesitation is over.

“If we do terminate the Filibuster, we will get EVERYTHING approved, like no Congress in History,” he said. “We will have FAIR, FREE, and SAFE Elections, No Men in Women’s Sports or Transgender for Everybody, Strong Borders, Major Tax and Energy Cuts, and will secure our Second Amendment, which the Democrats will also terminate, IMMEDIATELY.”

Trump warned that failure to act now would open the door for Democrats to reshape America permanently.

“If we don’t do it, they are far more likely to do well in the upcoming Elections, which would mean a PACKED Supreme Court, 2 more States and 4 more Democrat Senators (D.C. and Puerto Rico), and 8 more Electoral Votes,” he said.

He reminded Republicans that Democrats have already shown they’ll do whatever it takes when they regain power.

“Remember, Republicans, they are going to end the Filibuster as soon as they get the chance,” Trump said. “We know this because they already tried, and the only two people who didn’t go along are now out of office. But they have much less chance of WINNING if we have Great Policy Wins after Wins after Wins. IN FACT, THEY WILL LOSE BIG, AND FOR A VERY LONG TIME.”

He ended his message with a rallying cry that left little doubt about his urgency.

“TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER NOW, END THE RIDICULOUS SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY, AND THEN, MOST IMPORTANTLY, PASS EVERY WONDERFUL REPUBLICAN POLICY THAT WE HAVE DREAMT OF, FOR YEARS, BUT NEVER GOTTEN. WE WILL BE THE PARTY THAT CANNOT BE BEATEN – THE SMART PARTY!!!” Trump said.

For decades, the Senate filibuster has required 60 votes to move most legislation forward, forcing bipartisan cooperation. Democrats have often pushed to abolish it, claiming it blocks progress. But Republicans traditionally defended it as a protection for minority voices.

Now, even some conservatives are reconsidering. With Democrats using every procedural trick to block border security, election reform, and spending cuts, the pressure on Senate Republicans is mounting.

The last two senators who resisted ending the filibuster, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, are both gone from Congress. Trump says that means the Democrats will end it the moment they regain control — unless Republicans beat them to it first.

In Trump’s view, the choice is simple: act decisively, or watch Democrats rewrite the system forever.

“Better to end it now,” one GOP strategist said, “than to wait until the other side uses it against you.”

Whether Senate Republicans agree remains to be seen. But one thing is clear — Trump has drawn his line in the sand, and he’s daring his party to cross it.
