Chuck Schumer Melts Down as Trump’s Border Wins Leave Democrats Speechless

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer refused Tuesday to acknowledge the stunning success of President Donald Trump’s border policies, even as the latest data confirms a near-total collapse in illegal crossings just 100 days into Trump’s second term.

Speaking to reporters, Schumer was asked about the White House’s newly released fact sheet showing that illegal border encounters are down 99.99%, daily crossings have plunged 93%, and “gotaways” have dropped 95% since Trump returned to the Oval Office in January.

“I don’t trust Trump’s numbers,” Schumer scoffed—offering no rebuttal, no counter-evidence, and no explanation for the massive drop in border chaos. Just partisan denial.

The numbers, however, speak for themselves.

During the four years of Joe Biden’s open-borders agenda, the U.S. saw nearly 11 million illegal border encounters. At its worst, daily apprehensions under Biden soared to 15,000. Trump has slashed that figure to just 220 per day—an all-time record low.

In February, U.S. border agents recorded fewer than 7,200 illegal entries for the entire month, another historic milestone. Arrests and deportations have also surged, with over 151,000 administrative arrests and 139,000 deportations under Trump’s new policies—already surpassing Biden’s totals from the entire previous year.

Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, praised the numbers as “very, very good” during a press conference Monday, calling them proof that the administration’s no-nonsense crackdown is working.

But Democrats aren’t just ignoring these wins—they’re still trying to spin Trump as the problem.

During Sunday’s appearance on CNN, Schumer even refused to rule out impeachment if Democrats retake Congress in 2026, accusing Trump of “violating the rule of law” on a “daily basis.” The claim came despite the clear constitutional authority of the executive branch to enforce immigration laws—a duty Biden neglected while Schumer defended him.

What’s truly remarkable is how Democrats tried to shift the blame for Biden’s border catastrophe onto Trump, despite years of video evidence, skyrocketing fentanyl deaths, and millions of illegal entries under their watch.

Democrats argued Biden lacked the power to secure the border—until Trump proved them wrong.

Now they’re flailing, refusing to admit that the Trump administration’s swift action—reinstating Remain in Mexico, ending asylum fraud loopholes, revoking Biden’s CBP One app, and flooding border sectors with agents—has turned the tide faster than anyone thought possible.

The panic is so real that Democrats have started dusting off their impeachment fantasies just 100 days into Trump’s term.

But as the numbers keep pouring in, their narrative keeps collapsing.

Under Trump’s leadership, America’s borders are more secure than they’ve been in decades. Criminal cartels are being dismantled. Deportations are up. Illegal entries are down. And Americans are safer for it.

All Chuck Schumer can do now is deny the obvious and hope no one notices.

But the American people are watching—and they know who fixed the border.
