Tragedy Strikes AGAIN – Another Airline Goes Down

A Delta Airlines flight arriving from Minneapolis experienced a dramatic incident on Monday when it flipped upon landing at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, leaving eight people injured, including a child in critical condition.
Airport officials confirmed via social media that all 80 passengers and crew members were accounted for following the mishap. Emergency responders reported one critically injured passenger and seven others with non-life-threatening injuries.
Videos from the scene captured the Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR aircraft overturned on the snow-covered tarmac as rescue teams worked to secure the area and extinguish potential hazards. The plane was partially obscured by heavy snowfall from a recent winter storm that blanketed the region.
Ornge Air Ambulance revealed that one child was transported to Toronto’s SickKids Hospital, while two adults with severe injuries were taken to other medical facilities in the city.
While the exact cause of the incident remains under investigation, weather conditions are believed to have played a significant role. According to the Meteorological Service of Canada, the airport was experiencing blowing snow with wind speeds reaching 32 mph (51 kph) and gusts up to 40 mph (65 kph). Temperatures at the time were recorded at approximately 16.5°F (-8.6°C).
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has taken charge of the investigation, with the Federal Aviation Administration offering its support.
This incident marks the fourth major aviation accident in North America within the past month. Recent tragedies include a midair collision near Washington, D.C., on January 29, a fatal medical transport plane crash in Philadelphia on January 31, and a deadly plane crash in Alaska.
Delta Airlines issued a statement acknowledging the incident involving Endeavor Flight 4819, operated by its regional subsidiary, Endeavor Air. The airline assured the public that it is cooperating fully with authorities.
