The United Nations has once again called for a ceasefire in Gaza as Israel defends itself against an unrelenting barrage of rocket attacks from Hamas terrorists. While the UN claims to be advocating for peace, it seems more concerned with limiting Israel’s ability to defend its citizens than addressing the root cause of the violence: Hamas. This terrorist organization has embedded itself among Gaza’s civilian population, using them as human shields while launching indiscriminate rocket fire into Israeli cities.

For years, the international community has selectively intervened in this conflict, often pushing for restraint from Israel while turning a blind eye to the barbaric tactics of Hamas. Each time Israel responds to these attacks, the UN is quick to call for a ceasefire, as if both sides are equally at fault. What’s truly needed is a comprehensive strategy to dismantle Hamas’s power, allowing for genuine peace and stability in the region. The United Nations must stop acting as Hamas’s enabler by consistently calling for ceasefires that only delay the inevitable showdown between good and evil. Israel has the right to defend itself from those who seek its destruction, and it’s time the world recognized that defending your homeland is not an act of aggression—it’s a basic right.
