Senator Vance Discovers Hidden Trump Impeachment Plan in Ukraine Bill

By now, it’s been made pretty clear Donald Trump is the preferred candidate for president in 2024. So naturally, the Democrats have devised a plan that will ensure he is impeachable shortly after he wins back the White House – and it’s all been hidden in a recent bill expected to pass in the Senate.

If you haven’t heard, there is a currently proposed bill on the table in Congress over the funding of Ukraine. Yes, I know, again. According to the bill, about $60 billion would be given to Ukraine should it pass.

But it’s not just a one-time payment. It’s made up of parts, and, as with all things done by the federal government, that means it will take time. The money for Ukraine falls into two basic parts: a $13.7 bill for the Department of Defense’s Ukraine Security Assistance initiative and another $1.6 billion through the State Department’s Foreign Military Financing program.

You may remember that these are exactly the same programs that were used in 2019 that Trump was accused of misappropriating. That year, he paused payments to the two departments initially. But right before the end of the fiscal year, he decided to let them go through.

For this, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned the then-Democrat ran House against him and had him impeached.

Moving forward a few years, and the plan is pretty much the same.

You see, the deadline for the new payments to Ukraine’s military efforts is September 2025, which will fall nine months into Trump’s second presidential term, assuming he wins the election.

Naturally, the Democrats don’t want anyone to be able to stop those payments as Trump did before.

So, hidden deep within the new bill is a clause that pretty much guarantees Trump will be impeached again should he stop payments to Ukraine.

Ohio Senator and Trump backer JD Vance discovered the hidden clause and revealed it on Monday.

In a post to his X account, he wrote, “Buried in the bill’s text is an impeachment time bomb for the next Trump presidency if he tries to stop funding the war in Ukraine.”

Additionally, Vance wrote an op-ed explaining it all and sent it to all of his GOP counterparts in Congress as a warning.

“We must vote against this disastrous bill.”

Now, as of Sunday, the bill had already been voted to be advanced in the Senate, with 18 Republican Senators voting in its favor. This doesn’t mean it has passed in the Senate yet. That vote will happen soon, though, according to Reuters.

As Vance says, unfortunately, these 18 GOP senators probably didn’t exactly know what they were voting for or that they essentially “conspired with Democrats to control how Donald Trump runs foreign affairs in his second term.”

And that’s exactly why he’s making the hidden clause known now before it’s too late.

“Even if he wins, they have created the *exact* predicate that was used for the first impeachment trial. They will try to control Donald Trump, and if they fail, they will impeach him. Slava Ukraini (Glory to Ukraine), America be damned.”

Now, of course, this isn’t a real surprise to any of us. We had to know they would try something like this. And they probably will try it again and again until they can find a way to get rid of Trump.

As we all know, everything they’ve tried so far has failed quite miserably.

So they were hoping to get an “insurance policy” of sorts pushed through. Unfortunately for them, Vance found it before they could get it done.

And now, with a warning sent to all GOP members, it’s quite unlikely that the bill will pass, at least in the House, which the Republican Party very narrowly leads.
