Do you remember back when Donald Trump was in office and everything at a Dollar Tree store cost just $1? The economy under Joe Biden’s mismanagement is so bad that Dollar Tree stores are going to be forced to raise the price of some items to $7 later this year.

Dollar Tree CEO Rick Dreiling stated in the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call, “This year, across 3,000 stores, we expect to expand our multi-price assortment by over 300 items at price points ranging from $1.50 to $7.”

Inflation started to ramp up during Joe Biden’s first year in office. In 2021, Dollar Tree was forced to raise the price of all items to $1.25. Despite all the lies from the federal government about how awesome the economy is under Biden, things have only gotten worse from there.

Dollar Tree will bump the price up to $5 on some items beginning in June, and the rest of the way up to $7 during the fourth quarter of 2024. For many of the working poor in America, Dollar Tree is where they shop for regular household items because everything is so cheap. At the end of Joe Biden’s time in office (fingers crossed), those people will have experienced 700% inflation.

That’s not a small thing. It’s devastating for lower-income families because wages have been crushed by Joe Biden’s hordes of illegal aliens. How could anyone vote for this guy in November with that track record?

This isn’t the end of Dollar Tree’s woes, however. Dollar Tree also owns the chain of Family Dollar stores across America. Thanks to Joe Biden’s economy, Dollar Tree announced just a few weeks ago that it will be closing more than 1,000 Family Dollar stores over the next few years.
